Male victims of female perpetrated domestic violence;
for many years we attempted acknowledgement of male victims of
domestice violence from the government of alberta, but the government
refused to acknowledge male victims. All of a sudden they started to
say; "we acknowledge there are male victims, this change about was very
confusing until it was determined that it was easy for them to admit
that male victims of homosexual relations existed, that's all.
When
the government was approached and asked to say the phrase "male victims
of female perpetrated domestic violence" they could not say the phrase;
in our estimation it was the right phrase to use to describe the issue.
